Learning Objectives
- Participants will be able to discuss research on embodiment practices within therapeutic interventions including mindfulness, yoga, emotional awareness and contemplative psychotherapy.
- Participants will be able to apply at least three trauma-informed yoga techniques with clients prior to EMDR reprocessing, to enhance interception, emotional regulation skills, mind-body connectedness.
- Participants will be able to apply mindfulness based skills through direct intervention and therapeutic presence, to achieve symptom reduction and positive treatment outcomes.
