Derek Farrell, MBE

Prof Derek Farrell, MBE, is a professor in trauma psychology at the University of Worcester, Northumbria University, and Queen’s University Belfast. Farrell is president of Trauma Aid Europe and the Trauma Response Network Ireland. He is also co-editor of EMDRIA’s Journal of EMDR Practice & Research. He has been involved in several Humanitarian Trauma capacity-building programs, including Pakistan, Turkey, India, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, Lebanon, Poland, Philippines, Palestine, and Iraq. Farrell has authored over 50 academic peer-reviewed publications and several book chapters and is the co-editor of the Oxford Handbook of EMDR.
