Hope Payson, LCSW, LADC, has more than 30 years of experience as a clinician in a variety of settings. She currently assists private and non-profit organizations in creating trauma-informed systems of care for individuals who struggle with addiction. Among her areas of expertise are working with clients who have histories of developmental trauma, incarceration or legal involvement, and financial hardship. Payson presents internationally on topics ranging from EMDR therapy, complex trauma, addiction, and ways to promote both individual and systemic recovery. She co-produces the film “Uprooting Addiction” Healing From the Ground Up.”
